Prof. Victor Chang

Teesside University, United Kingdom

Prof. Victor Chang is currently a Full Professor of Data Science and Information Systems at the School of Computing, Engineering and Digital Technologies, Teesside University, Middlesbrough, UK, since September 2019. He currently co-leads and leads two Research Groups at Teesside University. He was a Senior Associate Professor, Director of Ph.D. (June 2016- May 2018) and Director of MRes (Sep 2017 - Feb 2019) at International Business School Suzhou (IBSS), Xi¡¯an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Suzhou, China, between June 2016 and August 2019. He was also a very active and contributing key member at Research Institute of Big Data Analytics (RIBDA), XJTLU. He was an Honorary Associate Professor at University of Liverpool. Previously he was a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, UK, between Sep 2012 and May 2016. Within 4 years, he completed Ph.D. (CS, Southampton) and PGCert (Higher Education, Fellow, Greenwich) while working for several projects at the same time. Before becoming an academic, he has achieved 97% on average in 27 IT certifications. He won a European Award on Cloud Migration in 2011, IEEE Outstanding Service Award in 2015, best papers in 2012, 2015 and 2018, the 2016 European special award, Outstanding Young Scientist 2017 and INSTICC Service Award 2017-2020. He is a visiting scholar/Ph.D. examiner at several universities, an Editor-in-Chief of IJOCI & OJBD journals, former Editor of FGCS, Associate Editor of TII & Information Fusion, founding chair of two international workshops and founding Conference Chair of IoTBDS and COMPLEXIS since Year 2016. He is the founding Conference Chair for FEMIB since Year 2019. He published 3 books as sole authors and the editor of 2 books on Cloud Computing and related technologies. He gave 18 keynotes at international conferences. He is widely regarded as one of the most active and influential young scientist and expert in IoT/Data Science/Cloud/security/AI/IS, as he has experience to develop 10 different services for multiple disciplines.

Dr. Simon Fong

University of Macau, China

Simon Fong graduated from La Trobe University, Australia, with a First Class Honours BEng. Computer Systems degree and a PhD. Computer Science degree in 1993 and 1998 respectively. Simon is now working as an Associate Professor at the Computer and Information Science Department of the University of Macau. He is also one of the founding members of the Data Analytics and Collaborative Computing Research Group in the Faculty of Science and Technology.  Prior to his academic career, Simon took up various managerial and technical posts, such as systems engineer, IT consultant and e-commerce director in Australia and Asia. Dr. Fong has published over 300 international conference and peer-reviewed journal papers, mostly in the areas of data mining and optimization algorithms.



Prof. Wenchao Pan

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China

Prof. Wenchao Pan Graduated from Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Ph.D. He received his master's degree from School University in 2003 and his bachelor's degreee from Department of Statistics, Tamkang University in 1999. Prof. Wenchao Pan is now a distinguished professor of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. He is also an inventor of well known international algorithm of Fruit Fly optimization Algorithm, and a regular reviewer for Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Fund. He received the International Outstanding Research Award for Young Scientists from Scopus. Editorial committee of International SCI journals. A highly cited writer of ESI. Before his academic career, Prof. Wenchao Pan was an associate professor of Huaxia University of Science and Technology, and employed as a guest professor of the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research mainly involves marketing research, data mining, evolutionary computing, business management research methods, economic models, social network analysis, big data analysis and other fields.




Prof. Xilong Qu

Hunan University of Finance and Economics, Changsha, Hunan, China

Prof. Xilong Qu is the dean of School of Information Technology and Management, Hunan University of Finance and Economics, he is also the master degree student advisor for both Xiangtan University and Hunan Institute of Engineering. Prof. Xilong Qu received his Ph.D on Southwest Jiaotong University, he finished his post-doctor study in Post-doctoral Research Center of Computer Science and Technology, South China University of Technology. Prof. Xilong Qu is the young core teacher of Hunan and a member of¡°121¡± talents program of Hunan.Prof.Xilong Qu joined 4 projects from the National High Technology Research and Development Program of China (863 Program) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, also he led the National Natural Science Foundation of Hunan, the Research Foundation of Education Bureau of Hunan Province, China and the National Science Foundation for Post-doctoral Scientists of China for 3, 1 and 1 times respectively. Prof. Xilong Qu published 4 books 35 articles (5 articles are indexed by SCI and the rest are indexed by EI). Prof. Xilong Qu is also invited for chairs and keynote speakers of numerous conferences and forums in China.


Prof. Hong Yu

Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China

Hong Yu is a professor of Intelligence Science and Technology at College Computer Science and Technology, Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. She is interested in rough sets, three-way decisions, cluster analysis, industry big data, automation of knowledge, Web intelligence, data mining and intelligent information processing. Her researches have been funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. She received a Chongqing Natural Science and Technology Award. She has published serval books and some peer-reviewed research articles. Her paper was selected as one of Top Articles in Outstanding S&T Journal of China.

Dr Muthu Ramachandran

Leeds Beckett University, UK 

Dr Muthu Ramachandran is a Principle Lecturer (Associate Professor) at the School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University, UK. Muthu has extensive research experience coupled with a teaching background and experiences on software and systems engineering methods & lifecycle, software development, agile software engineering, project management skills, process improvement skills, internet technology, mobile, networks, and distributed computing, real-time & embedded systems, cloud computing, service-oriented architecture, and IT systems development for the past 25 years. He was as a research scientist at India Space Research Labs where he worked on real-time systems development projects. Muthu is an author of two books: Software Components: Guidelines and Applications (Nova Publishers, NY, USA, 2008) and Software Security Engineering: Design and Applications (Nova Publishers, NY, USA, 2011). He is also an edited co-author of a book, Handbook of Research in Software Engineering (IGI, 2010) and has edited the book KE for SDLC (2011). He has widely authored published journal articles, book chapters and conferences materials on various advanced topics in software engineering and education. He received his Master's from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, India. He is a member of various professional organizations and computer societies: IEEE, ACM, Fellow of BCS, and Fellow of HEA. He was a speaker to the 5th international symposium on SOA Cloud 2012, London, COMPLEXIS 2016 and FEMIB 2019.





Prof. V¨ªctor M¨¦ndez Muñoz

Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), Spain

Prof. V¨ªctor M¨¦ndez Muñoz is a consultant professor at UOC, Spain. He has a background in several fields of Big Data, Cloud Computing, and IoT, both in academia and in the industry. Currently, he is contributing to the IoT ecosystem for microbiological control at IUL, which is an innovative company in the biotechnology. We are building new models and architectures taking full advantage of the state of the art opportunities in IoT microcomputers, microservices, and Edge Computing, to ensure genuine progress. Furthermore, he fosters bridging the gap between theory and practice, as a collaborating editor in scientific journals and conferences, training postgraduates at UOC and partaking in innovation programs with Universities.

Prof Yongxin Zhu

University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China
Dr. Zhu joined Shanghai Advanced Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) as a full Professor in 2017. He is also an Adjunct Professor with the School of Microelectronics at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). He has published over 150 English journal and conference papers, 50 Chinese journal papers and 20 China patent approvals in the areas of computer architecture, embedded systems, big data processing and blockchain. With over 1000 citations of these work in recent years, he has received recognition in China and Asia with IEEE best paper awards and Shanghai innovation award. To date, he has received over 20 million RMB in grants from various funding agencies and industrial partners in China. Prior to his tenure with CAS and SJTU, he worked as a research fellow with National University of Singapore in 2002-2005, a senior consultant with S1 Incorporation (inventor of the 1st Internet banking in the world) in 1999-2002 and a teaching assistant with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SJTU in 1994-1995. He is a guest editor of Journal of Systems Architecture, a Senior Member of IEEE, a Distinguished Member of China Computer Federation (CCF) and Blockchain Technical Committee of CCF. He was also a Visiting Professor with National University of Singapore in 2013-2017.



Prof. Xianfeng Li

Macao University of Science and Technology (MUST), China

Xianfeng Li is an Associate Professor at Macao University of Science and Technology (MUST). He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from The National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2005. He was an Associate Professor at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School before joining MUST in 2019. His research targets embedded systems and Internet-of-Things, with strong interests in their performance and energy issues. He served as deputy director of the Shenzhen Engineering Lab on Intelligent Perception for Internet-of-Things and was awarded the Shenzhen Hi-level Professional (local) in 2009. He has published over 50 research papers on international conferences/journals, including IEEE JSAC, INFOCOM, GLOBECOM, IEEE/ACM DAC, IEEE TC, etc. He has broadened his research impact by providing open-source research tools which are now in wide use.

Lianyong Qi

Qufu Normal University, China

Dr. Lianyong Qi received his PhD degree in Department of Computer Science and Technology from Nanjing University, China, in 2011. In 2010, he visited the Department of Information and Communication Technology, Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. Now, he is a full professor of the School of Information Science and Engineering, Qufu Normal University, China. His research interests include big data and recommender systems. He has published over 60 research papers (first author or corresponding author) in international journals (e.g., JSAC, TCC, TBD, TII, TCSS, TETCI, INS, JCSS, IoT-J, WWW-J, SPE, FGCS, JNCA, CCPE) and international conferences (e.g., ICWS, ICSOC, CSCWD, HPCC, TrustCom, CollaborateCom), including 2 Best Paper Awards and 3 ESI highly cited papers. He has served several international conferences including CPSCom'2018, CPSCom'2019, EAI Cloudcomp'2019 as the program vice chair or workshop chair. He also serves as the guest editor of WINET, JOEUC, JCC, JWCN, SCN, IJDSN. He has won the best paper awards of international conferences SpaCCS¡¯2017 and CSS¡¯2017. 



Dr. Gang Sun

University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, China

Gang Sun is an associate professor at UESTC. His research interests include network virtualization, cloud computing, high performance computing, parallel and distributed systems, Internet of Things, information and cyber security. He has published extensively in these areas, with 110+ technical publications including papers in refereed journals and conferences, invited papers and presentations and book chapters. He has also edited special issues at top journals, such as Future Generation Computer Systems and Multimedia Tool and Applications. He has served as reviewers of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management, IEEE Communications Letters, Information Fusion, Future Generation Computer Systems, Journal of Network and Computer Applications, Computer Networks, et al.


 

Prof Debiao He

Wuhan University, China

Debiao He received his Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics from School of Mathematics and Statistics, Wuhan University, Wuhan, China in 2009. He is currently a professor of the School of Cyber Science and Engineering, Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. His main research interests include cryptography and information security, in particular, cryptographic protocols. He has published over 100 research papers in refereed international journals and conferences, such as IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, IEEE Transactions on Information Security and Forensic, and Usenix Security Symposium.  He is the recipient of the 2018 IEEE Systems Journal Best Paper Award and the 2019 IET Information Security Best Paper Award. His work has been cited more than 7000 times at Google Scholar. He is in the Editorial Board of several international journals, such as Journal of Information Security and Applications, Frontiers of Computer Science, and Human-centric Computing & Information Sciences.



Dr. Iwan Syarif

Surabaya State Electronics Polytechnic, Indonesia

Dr Iwan Syarif is a University Lecturer in Computing at the Department of Informatics Engineering, Surabaya State Electronics Polytechnic, Indonesia. He graduated with PhD in Computer Science in 2014, University of Southampton, UK.
